Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 568

MANUSCRIPT: AC. Pencil.

PUBLICATION: NEQ XXVIII (1955) 312.

The date is conjectured from the handwriting. This fair copy, bearing every mark of completion, may or may not have left ED's desk. Presumably it came into Mrs. Todd's possession in the 1890's. The scripture quotation is from 1 Corinthians 15.51.
