Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 109

MANUSCRIPT: AC. Pencil. Dated: Thursday morning. Postmarked: Mar. 24. An attempt has been made throughout to erase Sue's name.

PUBLICATION: Home 269-270.

Sue arrived in Amherst on March 24. Lavinia's hand had recovered sufficiently for her to write a note to Austin that was enclosed with Emily's.
