MANUSCRIPT: AC. Pencil. Dated: Monday morning. Envelope franked by Edward Dickinson but addressed by ED: William Austin Dickinson/Law School/Cambridge/Mass. Postmark obliterated. An attempt has been made to erase and alter the name "Sue."

Stephen Greely Clarke, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was a friend of Austin's at Harvard Law School. On Professor Park, see the note in the preceding letter. With this letter, as with the two preceding, was enclosed one from Lavinia (Home 317-319).
