The term at Mount Holyoke was not to end until August 3, but ED had a short visit at home when she and her cousin, among others, were allowed to go to Amherst for the opening of the new "Cabinet," a small museum at Amherst College. The ceremony coincided with the Junior Exhibition on June 29.
