Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 45

MANUSCRIPT: AC. Ink. Dated: Sunday afternoon. Envelope addressed: Wm Austin Dickinson./Care of Loring Norcross Esq./Boston./Mass Postmarked: Amherst Ms Jun 30.

PUBLICATION: L (1894) 85-87, in part; L (1931) 84-86, in part; Home146-148, entire.

The references to persons in this letter are so obscure as to make identification unwarrantable. An enclosed note from Lavinia suggests that Emeline Kellogg, who lived next door, and Henry Nash, whom she later married, may have been the ones principally concerned.
