letters from dickinson to eugenia hall

Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 1002

MANUSCRIPT: Barrett. Pencil.

PUBLICATION: L (1894) 427; LL 374; L (1931) 415.

The phrase "Somewhat Cousin" might suggest that ED was ill, or that the cousinship was in fact remote. She is probably thanking Eugenia for the cake by sending flowers. See letter no. 995.
