MANUSCRIPT: BPL (Higg 86). Ink. PUBLICATION: L (1894) 326, in part; LL 305, in part; L (1931) 308, entire. Higginson had replied to the query in ED's last letter to him, evidently enclosing an obituary notice, perhaps from the Boston Evening Traveller for 6 September, since a copy of the notice is in his notebook of 1877.
