Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 623

MANUSCRIPT: missing. The text has the same provenance as that of letter no. 376.

PUBLICATION: L (1894) 399; L (1931) 388, dated: Christmas, 1879.

Mrs. Hills annually sent Christmas remembrances. The fervor of the acknowledgement may suggest the pleasure which Mrs. Dickinson now took in such events.
