letters from dickinson to adelaide hills

Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 846

MANUSCRIPT: missing. The text has the same provenance as that of letter no. 376. This and the two following letters to Mrs. Hills, were thought by George F. Whicher on the basis of handwriting to have been written about 1883.

PUBLICATION: L (1894) 398; L (1931) 387.

Mrs. Hills annually sent a Christmas remembrance, and this may acknowledge one for 1882.
