PUBLICATION: L (1931) 318-319, among the letters to Higginson, but with a footnote: "Though included among the letters to Colonel Higginson, this letter was probably written to 'H. H.'"

Helen Jackson sent this letter to Higginson, who kept it. It is a reply to the letter which follows, from Helen Jackson, dated: Colorado Springs/Sept. 5./1884.
