letters between dickinson and jackson

To Helen Hunt Jackson
From Emily Dickinson

1879

Dear friend,

To the Oriole you suggested I add a Humming Bird and hope they are not untrue -

A Route of Evanescence
With a revolving Wheel
A Resonance of Emerald
A Rush of Cochineal
And every Blossom on the Bush
Adjusts it's tumbled Head -
The Mail from Tunis, probably,
An easy Morning's Ride.
