letters from dickinson to the jenkins family

Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 810

MANUSCRIPT: missing.

PUBLICATION: FN 129.

This and the two following messages, sent to Mrs. Jenkins or to some member of the Jenkins family, cannot be dated. They are placed here because the year 1883 was the last in which ED is known to have corresponded with the Jenkinses. This note is said to have been sent with a sketch of Amherst covered with snow.
