MANUSCRIPT: destroyed.

PUBLICATION: L (1894) 287-288; LL 328; L (1931) 261.

The date of this letters is made certain by the identical phrasing used about two hurricanes which, she says, untied her apron. The note thanks the cousins for a gift of bulbs. The letter following tells them that the bulbs have been planted.
