MANUSCRIPT: About 1869 (H 238), in pencil. It is addressed "Sue -" and signed "Emily." A transcript made by ED's cousin, Frances Norcross, was sent to T. W. Higginson, together with a copy of "The Mushroom," and is in BPL (Higg 135a). It is identical in text with the copy to Sue, but without stanza division.
