Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 915

MANUSCRIPT: Rosenbach 1170/18 (9). Pencil. Unpublished.

This letter and the five that follow, sent to Mrs. Sweetser, are in the handwriting of about 1884, written presumably during the summer while the Sweetsers were sojourning in Amherst. It is entirely possible that some were in fact written a year later, in 1885. This group, together with two notes placed in the autumn, concludes the correspondence with "Mrs. Nellie."
