What a beautiful statement about your relationship with Dickinson!  I've never
had to struggle so hard, with so little resistance on my part, to access
poetry.  I'm sure I'd give up a lot earlier with most poets.  Yes, the waltz
is at a distance.  No slow dance hugs with her.
