All the CD-ROM can do is search for words and get definitions, and, in addition, find all other words in the dictionary that contain the word under search. If you mean by "see the full text" that one can see the surrounding material before and after the word in question, that doesn't happen on the CD-ROM. So, I suspect that saving money to get the Bennett book is a great idea. We live in an information age, but part of the process is sharing information on how to get information. So, thanks.
