Were I a poet I would tell
you in pretty four line verse
    Of June, and her belongings
    Of Sky and Grass
    Of hill and dale
    And Sun and Moon
All in the bonny month of
          June.

      ----

    Of daisies white
    And violets blue
    And butter cups
    With hearts so true

      ----

  Of dandelions gone to fuzz
Of bumble bees that buzz & buzz
Of red topped clover in the grass
That ne'er the boy or girl can
          pass

H bMS Am 1118.95, Box 9

Of pretty girl & gallant boy
Who fancy Nature is their toy
Who quite forget the need to bow
When they enjoy her holy air.

This much and more
     would be my tune
All in the bonny month of June -
     June 12"/89
Am. Coll.
