AMHERST.
Mrs W. Austin Dickinson and her son-
in-law and daughter, Capt and Mrs A.
Bianchi, are going abroad for the winter.
They sailed by the Kaiser Wilhelm from
New York on Tuesday and plan to pro-
ceed to Florence, Italy, where they will
remain until December. The winter will
be spent in a villa at Nice and they ex-
pect to return in the spring. They enter-
tained about 60? of their friends at a tea
on the 20th, which was especially enjoyed
because it is the first time their charming
home has been open for a social function
in many years.
