One that could yield a good deal of information for you is: www.colorado.edu/EDIS/ That is the Emily Dickinson International Society and, among other things they publish the Emily Dickinson Journal, which comes out twice a year. So click the mouse on the Journal part of the site. The Journal contains scholarly articles about Dickinson. They are lengthy (20 pages or so), and they cover various topics. Some of the articles can't be retrieved online, but many can. This is a scholarly journal, so I suspect it can be trusted, although I'm a neophyte with Dickinson scholarship. There's also another source: www.salonmagazine.com. This is an online magazine publised by Borders Books and Music. Late last year the poet Galway Kinnell wrote a brief essay, "Reckless Genius," to initiate a "table talk" discussion about Dickinson. The exact location of that little essays is: www.salonmagazine.com/features/1997/11/cov_03kinnell.html Galway writes of some of Dickinson's poetic choices. It's not a long piece, but it's interesting. Then you can log onto the "table talk" section, where many comments by others are archived. When you log in to the "table talk" stuff, you are asked to make up a login name and ID and you'll be in. Keep track of those items, however, since you might want to return for future "table talk" events. You say you are not particularly expert with the Web, so let me know if I can aid further.
