Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 158

MANUSCRIPT: AC. Pencil. Dated: Sunday Evening. Envelope addressed (in ink): Wm Austin Dickinson./Law School./Cambridge./Mass. Postmarked: Amherst Ms Mar 22.

PUBLICATION: Home 346-351, with facsimile 347-350.

An attempt has been made to alter every reference to Sue. The women named in the paragraph next to the last evidently were seamstresses and other helpers called in to assist Mrs. Dickinson and Lavinia to prepare their impending trip to Washington.
