Mrs S - beside her hospitality revelling in the handing about bric a brac and Syrian lilies sent over to them element in church & society who is now the well known wife of Dr Harrison Bliss of Beirut Coll. Our own bijouterie seemed too familiar & common after these musky curios of Turks & Arabs -- ? Syrian? coffee cups - exquisite cologne bottles - bits of husk "such as the swine did eat" faithfully described by our enthusiastic hostess - fans &tc ?tals? ?
