flower garden in fore-ground - charming

bridge in the moonlight - Paris to Z. all
golden wheat-fields - E. limped out at
the frontier with one red slipper to see
the luggage bise'd[?] - Paris very nice -
cool as Sept. met MacLane's - opera
Faust with them - Massioni in a box
near us - Opera Frenchily put - Faust
remarkably sung - other parts fair
Late supper in a cafe' - The Mac
Lanes dear folks - hope to meet
again - shall meet again I nearly
forgot who I was, & my sound
