letters from dickinson to elizabeth holland

Thomas Johnson's Note on Letter 820

MANUSCRIPT: HCL (H 80). Pencil.

PUBLICATION: LH 177.

This letter acknowledges one written by Mrs. Holland herself, which said that her daughter Kate was expecting a baby. For "Brooks of Sheffield," see letters no. 204 and 549. The first quotation is from Psalms 23:4; the second from John 4.32. The last two are respectively from Psalms 91.11; and Ephesians 3.20.
